Our client, a leading facilities management and construction company in the South West, is seeking a skilled and proactive engineer to join their facilities management team who works on a University contract

* Permanent position with a 40-hour working week (shifts: 7:00–15:30 and 9:30–18:00)
* Out-of-hours call-out rotation (approximately 1 in 6)

Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance, repairs, and installations
* Test and inspect electrical systems and resolve issues efficiently
* Produce detailed work reports to ensure stakeholders are kept informed
* Source parts, liaise with manufacturers, and solve complex technical problems
* Maintain strict adherence to health and safety regulations and company procedures
* Use PDAs or electronic devices to manage and report work
Essential skills:
* C&G Level 3 2357 or equivalent, and/or relevant apprenticeship
* Minimum 3 years’ experience in building maintenance (planned, reactive, remedial)
* AM2 assessment completed
* C&G 2382 18th Edition
* Full UK driving license
* ECS Gold Card
Desirable:
* IOSH – Working safely or CSCS Card
* L8 Awareness
