We are looking for a qualified and reliable Electrician to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract to carry out testing and inspection works on domestic properties across Bristol and Bath.
This role is ideal for an electrician with strong experience in domestic installations and electrical testing who takes pride in producing accurate certification and delivering excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) on domestic properties.
* Perform testing and inspection of new and existing electrical installations.
* Identify faults, defects, and non-compliances in accordance with BS 7671.
* Complete all relevant certification and documentation accurately.
* Liaise professionally with homeowners, tenants, and site contacts.
* Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with current regulations.
* Travel between projects throughout Bristol and Bath.
Requirements
* NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent).
* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification.
* City & Guilds 2391, 2394/2395, or equivalent Testing & Inspection qualification.
* Proven experience in domestic electrical testing and inspection.
* Full UK driving licence.
* Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
* Good communication and customer service skills.
Desirable
* Previous experience carrying out EICRs for landlords, housing providers, or domestic contractors.
* ECS/JIB card.
