Mobile Electrical Engineer

Location: Manchester / North West
Salary: £45,000 + Company Van + Benefits

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Mobile Electrical Engineer to join a leading facilities management business, working predominantly across a key commercial contract in Manchester.

This is a great opportunity for an electrically qualified engineer looking for a secure, long-term position offering a strong basic salary, company van and very limited on-call requirements.

The Role

As a Mobile Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for planned and reactive electrical maintenance across a portfolio of commercial properties.

Day-to-day duties will include:

* Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM)

* Reactive electrical maintenance and repairs

* Electrical fault finding and diagnostics

* EICR testing and inspections

* Testing and remedial works

* General electrical building services maintenance

* Ensuring all work is completed safely and compliantly

* Completing relevant maintenance and compliance documentation

The main contract is based in Manchester, although there will be occasional travel to other sites across the North West and Midlands, including Derby. Sites will predominantly consist of offices, business parks and industrial units.

What We're Looking For

* Fully qualified Electrical Engineer

* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations

* 2391 Inspection & Testing – essential

* Experience completing EICRs

* Previous commercial building maintenance / FM experience

* Strong fault-finding skills

* Full UK driving licence

* Happy with occasional travel into the Midlands

Engineers based in Manchester or South Manchester would be particularly well located for the contract.

The successful engineer will attend the company’s Wolverhampton head office on their first day to complete their induction and collect their company van.
