Experienced Electrician – Commercial & Facilities

Salary: £42,000 per annum or £19–£21 per hour

We are currently looking for an experienced, motivated and reliable Electrician to join our established Electrical Department.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified electrician with strong commercial experience who enjoys working as part of a professional team while also being confident working independently.

The Role

The successful candidate will work alongside our Maintenance and Projects teams, carrying out electrical works across a wide range of commercial and public-sector properties, including:

Commercial and leisure buildings

Schools and higher education facilities

NHS and healthcare premises

Offices and commercial properties

Blue Light properties

Maintenance and project-based electrical works

You will be responsible for completing work to a high standard, while maintaining excellent health & safety and quality standards.

Essential Qualifications

Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)

City & Guilds 2365 / 2357 Diploma in Electrical Installation

18th Edition Wiring Regulations – BS 7671

AM2 – Achievement Measurement 2

City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing

ECS or CSCS Card

Full UK Driving Licence

Desirable:

IPAF certification

PASMA certification

Experience with renewable energy systems, including Solar PV and EV charging

Experience

The ideal candidate will have:

At least 4 years' post-qualification electrical experience

Strong commercial electrical experience

Experience within electrical, mechanical and building services

Experience working to QA standards

Good knowledge of Health & Safety requirements

Understanding and experience of risk assessments

Experience managing or developing staff would be advantageous
