Electrician

• Carry out electrical remedial works in occupied and void properties, including some rewire works.
  
  


• Undertake routine service, maintenance, testing, inspection, and planned installation tasks.
  
  


• Complete reports, certifications, order materials, and request follow-on work using mobile electronic devices.
  
  


• Participate in a 1-in-4 out-of-hours call-out rota for emergency responsive services.
  
  


• Comply with safe working practices, health and safety policies, and asbestos-related responsibilities.
  
  


• Maintain the company vehicle (if used) and ensure all essential PPE and tools are used appropriately.
  
  

Experience

• Practical experience in electrical inspection, testing, and undertaking remedial works.
  
  


• Desirable: Experience in housing maintenance within the social housing sector.
  
  


• Ability to use electronic devices for reporting and ordering materials.
  
  

Qualifications

• City and Guilds 2360 Parts 1&2 (or equivalent).
  
  


• City and Guilds 2382 18th Edition.
  
  


• City and Guilds 2391 Test & Inspection (or equivalent).
  
  


• Willingness to undertake CAT B asbestos training (or provide certification if already in place).

• Working hours: 37 hours per week (Mon-Thu 8.30-4.30pm, Fri 8.30-4pm)
  
  


• Full current driving licence required (Own vehicle beneficial, mileage paid)
  
  


• We work on a biweekly payment schedule.
  
  


• This is an onsite role based in Kettering.
  
  


• Call-out rate £17.65 per hour Umbrella.
  
  


• Pay rate £22-£27 per hour Umbrella (depending on your experience).
