Electrician Band 4

Direct Medics is a leading healthcare recruitment specialist recruiting Allied Health Professionals of all bands and specialties for long and short-term locum roles throughout the UK. Direct Medics is a Registered Supplier to the Northern Ireland Health and Social Care Trust Framework. We are currently working with qualified Electricians to help them find new and exciting opportunities with the Trusts here in Northern Ireland. As such, we are now recruiting on behalf of the Southern Trust for a Band 4 Electrician!

The post holder will be responsible for maintaining building fabric and services throughout the estate in line with his / her core specialist skills and experience as and when required by the trust. The post holder will also be required to work as part of a team in providing a comprehensive repair and maintenance service, involving routine and non –routine activities to a wide range of electrical equipment & building fabric and services. The post will require full time cover Monday-Friday (37.5hrs) and will be for a 6 month duration at present. Salary starting From £14.50 to £15.50 per hour.

-   Recognised and registered CITB or EITB apprenticeship or equivalent approved training

-   2 years post qualification experience with at least one years' experience of electrical maintenance work

- City & Guilds of London Craft Certificate in Electrical (C&G 2382) or NVQ Level III Electrical

- Another equivalent approved qualification/ applicants substantively in post in the Health & Personal Social Services on 1 August 1986 & having served the recognised apprenticeship will be eligible to apply to this post, notwithstanding the above qualification requirement.
