My client is a well-established electrical contractor with over 10 years of success delivering high-quality electrical services across domestic, commercial and industrial sectors.
With a close-knit team of six and an excellent reputation for quality workmanship and customer service, they are looking to recruit an experienced Electrician to support continued growth across their North Hampshire customer base.
This is a varied role covering installation, testing, maintenance, fault finding and renewable energy projects across domestic, commercial and industrial environments.
The successful candidate must hold a full UK driving licence, be willing to travel throughout the region and be comfortable working at height when required.
Key Responsibilities
Domestic Electrical Works
Full and partial rewires Consumer unit replacements and upgrades Socket, switch and accessory installations Internal and external lighting installations LED lighting upgrades Smart home installations Electric heating and smart heating controls Underfloor heating installations Home cinema and media wall installations CCTV, security systems and smart doorbells EV charger installations Solar PV installations Smoke alarm installations New build and refurbishment projects Electrical fault finding and repairs EICRs and inspection/testing
Commercial & Industrial Electrical Works
Commercial and industrial electrical installations Distribution board upgrades and replacements Single-phase and three-phase installations Lighting and emergency lighting systems Trunking, containment and cable management systems Data cabling and connectivity installations Access control and security systems Backup generator and UPS installations Planned and reactive maintenance EICRs, inspection and testing Fault diagnosis and rectification
Essential Requirements
Qualified Electrician (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent) 18th Edition Wiring Regulations Experience within domestic, commercial and industrial environments Solar PV installation experience Experience carrying out EICRs Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills Good understanding of single-phase and three-phase systems Experience with first fix and second fix installations Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and wiring diagrams Competent with hand and power tools Full UK Driving Licence Ability to work at height Professional and customer-focused approach Reliable, self-motivated and able to work independently
Desirable
Inspection & Testing qualification (2391 or equivalent) EV charger installation experience Smart home technology experience Industrial maintenance experience
