Electrician - ECS Gold Card

Key Responsibilities:

* Install, test, and maintain electrical systems and equipment

* Ensure compliance with BS 7671 wiring regulations

* Diagnose faults and perform repairs efficiently

* Work on heating meter installations and electrical connections

* Install and configure meter gateways / smart metering systems

* Add and connect power sources for new and existing installations

* Carry out Distribution Board (DB) preparation, wiring, and upgrades

* Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

* Conduct inspections and complete certification

Requirements:

* Engineering-level qualification in Electrical (Degree/Diploma) with UK ENIC equivalency to UK standards

* NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent recognized qualification)

* ECS Gold Card required

* Experience with heating meters, meter gateways, and smart systems

* Strong knowledge of DB installation and power distribution systems

* Knowledge of UK electrical regulations and H&S standards

* Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
