Electrician - Field Based

We are a well-established electrical company offering a wide range of services, we are registered with the NICEIC as an Approved Contractor and specialise in General Electric work, as well as renewables, for both residential and commercial settings. Due to growth in business, we are looking for and experienced Electrician to join our small team.

Working 40 hours a week you will receive a salary between £15 and £17.50 per hour, plus company van, iPad, personal pension, 29 days holiday including bank holidays and private healthcare. We are a friendly team with a good work ethic, looking for likeminded people. As an experienced electrician, you may be seeking an employed role having been contracting or running your own business or simply seeking a new challenge having worked in a similar role.

Reporting to the 2 company Directors, who have 15 years of combined experience within the industry, and working with 4 others within the team, the role is a mixture of residential and commercial electrical tasks.

You will be expected to travel to site each day, some days may hold several different locations within a reasonable commute with tasks as follows but not limited to:
• Installing residential, commercial and industrial electrical systems
• Performing routine maintenance on electrical systems and equipment
• Identifying and repairing breakdowns, faults and malfunctions
• Testing and inspecting electrical systems
• Designing electrical systems
• Reading and interpreting electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
• Certifying the compliance of electrical installations

To be successful for this role you will have the following:
• Experience in both commercial and residential electrical repairs & installations
• City of Guilds Level 3 or equivalent
• Initial and Periodic Electrical Inspection and Testing (2391) qualification
• 4 years of professional experience
• Driving license
