Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm

The Role - Electrician – Reactive & Remedial Installs

They are currently seeking a fully qualified and experienced electrician to join their reactive maintenance team, working on the Brighton & Hove Council commercial contract. This role focuses on reactive repairs with occasional small-scale installations across a variety of council-operated commercial premises.

Key Responsibilities:

• Working as part of a team of 4, delivering reactive maintenance and remedial installations
• Covering commercial properties including libraries, town halls, public facilities, and buildings within the Pavilion estate
• Responding to urgent repairs and maintenance requests
• Carrying out minor electrical installations as required
• Interfacing with council representatives and maintaining professional relationships

Requirements:

• 10–15 years of experience (including apprenticeship)
• Fully qualified: NVQ Level 3, AM2, and 18th Edition
• Testing & Inspection certification (desirable but not essential)
• Full, clean UK driving licence
• Clean DBS check
• Professional, client-facing manner with excellent communication skills
• Must live locally to Brighton
