Location- OL10
PAYE rate - £18.85 - £20.66
Umbrella rate - £23.98 - £26.28

Managed Property Services (MPS) are recruiting for an electrician to be part of a reactive and planned maintenance team providing a high quality building maintenance service to the customers of Rochdale Borough Council. This is working on schools and public buildings

1. To ensure all electrical works undertaken including installation, repairs, diagnostic fault finding and testing, are carried out in a proper manner and in accordance with the required standards and legislation.
2. To undertake Electrical Installation Condition Reports on a variety of premises to ensure statutory compliance for the council, using electronic software to produce the relevant certification.
3. To undertake works on a variety of control systems, not inclusive of, but including fire alarm systems, data/comms, BMS, intruder alarms, CCTV, door access, and addressable lighting installations.

The candidate will be required to carry out various electrical installations and repairs, within set timescales, to a manner that demonstrates a high regard for customer care, and a high standard of workmanship, efficiency and compliance with customer / contract requirements.

This post requires the candidate to have gained relevant vocational qualifications ( in this area of expertise, and be able to demonstrate a vast work experience across the trade.
