Electrician's Mate

Dutton Recruitment (Sheffield Engineering) are recruiting:

We are looking for an experienced Electrician's Mate for a long-term contract based on a Water Treatment Plant in Basingstoke.

Rate of Pay is £17.00 per hour (All hours worked Monday to Friday)

The Role

Working alongside qualified Industrial Electricians, you will assist with heavy industrial electrical installations, including:

Assisting with the installation of cable containment systems
Installing cable tray, trunking and ladder rack
Cable pulling and glanding
Assisting with the installation and termination of electrical equipment
Working from engineering drawings and site plans
Ensuring work is completed safely and to a high standard
Maintaining a clean and safe working environmentCandidate Requirements

Previous experience working as an Electrician's Mate on heavy industrial projects is essential.
Experience working on water treatment plants, power stations, process plants or similar industrial environments is advantageous.
ECS Card is essential.
Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
Good understanding of electrical installation practices.
Strong awareness of health and safety procedures.
Reliable, hardworking and punctual.
