Job Title: Electro-Mechanical Field Team Assessor
Location: Humber Region (Based at centres in Hull, Grimsby, or Scunthorpe)
Travel: Requires travel across local training sites and regular visits to employer premises
Salary:

£39,328 per annum - No Assessor qualification but relevant industry experience
£39,775 per annum - Level 3 Assessor qualification and relevant industry experience
£40,990 per annum - IQA Qualification Level 4 and relevant industry experience
Plus an Annual Performance-Based Bonus

The Opportunity:

As an Electro-Mechanical Field Team Assessor, you will play a crucial role in the development of engineering apprentices. You will step into a mobile, workplace-facing role, visiting apprentices directly within their engineering and manufacturing work environments to assess, track, and support their progress toward completing their apprenticeship standards.
Key responsibilities include:

Conducting regular workplace site visits across the region to assess apprentices' practical skills and knowledge.
Reviewing and auditing learner portfolios against required electro-mechanical apprenticeship standards.
Providing constructive, supportive feedback and guidance to help apprentices develop their technical capabilities.
Collaborating closely with internal training teams and employer supervisors to ensure consistent educational progress.
Maintaining accurate progress records and ensuring all compliance tracking is up to date.What We Need From You (Key Criteria)

Technical Expertise: Strong practical electro-mechanical skills with relevant trade qualifications at Level 3 or above.
Industry Experience: Proven track record working within an industrial, engineering, or manufacturing environment.
Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication abilities with a clear, genuine commitment to the professional development of young people.
Logistics: A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are essential, as public transport is not a practical option for the multi-site travel required.
Qualifications Background: Existing Assessor (Level 3) or IQA (Level 4) qualifications are highly desirable but not essential. Full training and qualification sponsorship will be provided to the right candidate.An Industry-Leading Benefits Package
