Electro-Mechanical Assembler

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electro-Mechanical Assembler to join our client’s manufacturing team.

This is a hands-on production role suited to someone with experience assembling electrical and mechanical components within an engineering, electronics or manufacturing environment.

You will be responsible for assembling, wiring and testing electro-mechanical products and sub-assemblies, working from engineering drawings, build instructions and technical documentation.

Key Responsibilities

Assemble electrical and mechanical components, products and sub-assemblies.

Carry out wiring, cable assembly and basic electrical connections.

*

Work from engineering drawings, schematics and build instructions.

*

Use a range of hand tools and production equipment safely and accurately.

*

Complete soldering and crimping activities where required.

*

Fit components, connectors, switches, motors and other electro-mechanical parts.

*

Inspect completed assemblies to ensure they meet required quality standards.

*

Carry out basic testing and fault finding on assembled products.

*

Identify and report build issues, defects or component shortages.

*

Maintain accurate production and quality records.

*

Work closely with engineering, production and quality teams.

*

Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.

About You

*

Previous experience in an electro-mechanical assembly or production role.

*

Experience with electrical wiring, cable assembly and mechanical fitting.

*

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical instructions.

*

Experience with soldering, crimping and hand tools would be advantageous.

*

Good attention to detail and a strong focus on quality.

*

Comfortable working with small components and detailed assemblies.

*

Experience within electronics, engineering, aerospace, defence or manufacturing would be beneficial.

A practical, reliable and team-focused approach.
