Well established and part of a larger International Group, this thriving and innovative R&D site is looking to add two practical Electronic Engineers to its expanding Design function. This site acts as a Centre of Excellence for the wider Group, developing rugged systems and application ready systems for a variety of Global customers.
Role & Responsibilities:
Very much a practical engineering role, your focus will be on the design and development of complex PCB's, including high speed digital interfaces. You will be involved along the full product lifecycle - from early concept qand schematic design through to layout, test, qualification and production support. You will design, build, debug and improve real hardware, with EMC in mind. Working across analogue, digital and power domains, you will work closely with firmware, mechanical and manufacturing teams, whilst supporting environmental and qualification testing. Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
BSc or MSc in Electronic / Electrical Engineering At least 4 years Electronic Engineering / PCB Design experience using Altium or OrCAD Understanding of high speed design and ideally EMC
