Electronics Assembler

Infinity Employment is recruiting for an Electronics Assembler to join a well-established manufacturing company based in Portsmouth.

This is a fantastic temp-to-permanent opportunity for someone with previous experience within manufacturing, electrical/electronic assembly or a similar hands-on production environment.

This is a fantastic temp-to-permanent opportunity, working 37.75 hours per week, Monday to Friday, at £12.71 per hour. (Increased after training)

The Role:

Working as part of the production team, you will be involved in the assembly of safety power solutions and associated electrical and electronic components.

Your duties will include:

* Assembly of fire and security systems and electrical/electronic components

* Inserting electrical connections, wires, terminals and PCB components

* Working with wiring looms and connectors

* Basic electrical testing and inspection of completed assemblies

* Identifying and reporting any defects or quality issues

* Basic mechanical assembly using hand tools

* Working from drawings and assembly instructions

* Ensuring work is completed to a high standard of quality

Experience required:

* Previous manufacturing, electrical or electronic assembly experience

* Experience working with PCBs or electronic components

* Good attention to detail

* Good manual dexterity and practical hands-on skills

* Ability to follow drawings and work instructions

* Basic mechanical assembly experience

* Basic computer/Excel skills

* A reliable and positive approach to work
