Electronics Assembly Technician

We are excited to offer an opportunity for an Electronics Assembly Technician to join a highly established Aerospace manufacturer.

This role involves the electrical and mechanical assembly of Galley products, including sub-assemblies, conducting product testing, and performing fault diagnostics. You will work collaboratively with engineers from the test and engineering departments to ensure high-quality standards and continuous improvement in manufacturing processes.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Carry out product testing for performance, safety, and compliance according to Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP).
• Conduct root cause investigations, providing analysis and recommendations.
• Analyze test data and generate test reports.
• Fault find and repair products to meet customer and company requirements.
• Ensure all test equipment is properly maintained and within calibration schedules.
• Assemble major and minor mechanical assemblies and carry out electrical sub-assemblies.
• Read engineering drawings and assemble products to quality requirements.
• Perform soldering to IPC standards and promote best practices to ensure ease of manufacture and testability.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience with electronic test equipment such as Oscilloscopes, multimeters, and automated test equipment.
• Experience working within the Electronics Manufacturing industry.
• Strong attention to detail, exceptional planning, organization, and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
