Are you an Electronic Design Engineer with experience of PCB design looking to join a global manufacturer of automatic electrical test systems for some of the world's best-known brands such as Boeing, Cobham and GE?

This company works with the world's best known aerospace brands and gives excellent training to develop and design new products and technologies. They design and manufacture automated test equipment for the aerospace, rail, oil and gas industries with over 30 years' experience in the testing field.

On offer is the chance to become a fundamental asset to the team. You will be involved in the design and development of new products and will work closely with customers to develop solutions that advance their manufacturing processes.

The Role:

• Electronic Systems for measurement of voltage, current, resistance and impedance
• Micro-electronics - Interfacing with PC and peripherals for the control of systems and measurement of units under test
• Research and development of new measurement techniques and technology
• Managing projects and multi-disciplinary development teams
• Microcontroller design and integration with analogue measurement devices
• Schematic Capture and PCB design using CAD tools
• Analogue circuit design, including interfacing with DACs and ADCs, filtering and signal conditioning
• Ethernet - knowledge of Layer 2 protocols and low-level interfaces.
• Firmware development (Embedded 'C' programming for microcontrollers)

The Person:

• Electronics design/development experience
• PCB design and experience with DACs and ADCs
