Job Description - Electronics Engineer - FPGA - Hybrid / Cambridge

Electronics Engineer (FPGA)
£60,000 - £75,000
Hybrid (2-3 days onsite in Cambridgeshire)

You will be responsible for the design and development of VHDL for FPGAs working on hardware design projects

Creating specifications for interfaces between FPGA components

Verification and debugging of FPGA designs including development of test benches, in-system debugging, and testing integration with PC software

You will be responsible for the selection of FPGAs for new designs and prototyping

To perform design calculations/simulations and prototype and assist in the test/verification of electronic hardware

Essential
  • Digital/analogue design
  • Experienced in VHDL/Verilog FPGA design
  • Ability to fault find / debug
  • Experience with various test methodologies and simulation tools
Desirable
  • Firmware software experience
  • Mixed signal designs
  • Experience of using Jira
