Electronics Hardware Engineer – Derbyshire
£45,000 - £55,000 + great benefits

An established and growing client of mine are looking to expand their Hardware team, by bringing in an experienced Electronics Hardware Engineer. You will provide design input on projects and offer new ideas for developments and new products.

In your role as Electronics Hardware Engineer, you will be a key member of the design and development team, contributing to the creation of test solutions for advanced automotive electronics. You will have a passion for circuit design and prototyping whilst playing a key role in developing market-leading electronic testing solutions.

Requirements:

• Strong experience in electronic hardware design
• Schematic capture and PCB layout tools (e.g., Altium Designer, KiCAD, Eagle).
• Microcontrollers, signal conditioning, power electronics, and interface protocols (CAN, LIN, UART, SPI, etc.).
• Experience in prototyping, soldering, debugging, and hardware validation
• Ability to read and interpret automotive wiring diagrams and technical specifications.
• Excellent problem solving skills
• Automotive or embedded environment experience would be beneficial
