A leading Further Education provider in Devon is looking to recruit a skilled and enthusiastic Electronics Lecturer to join their Engineering department on a full-time, permanent basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a background in teaching Electronics at Level 4 / HNC who is looking to further their career in a supportive, forward-thinking college environment. While industry experience in electronics is a plus, it is not essential - what matters most is a passion for teaching and developing future engineers.

• Deliver high-quality teaching, learning and assessment on Level 4 / HNC Electronics Engineering programmes

• Support and guide students through both practical and theoretical components

• Contribute to course development, curriculum planning and quality assurance processes

• Help prepare learners for careers in the engineering sector or progression to higher levels of study

• Experience delivering Electronics or Electrical Engineering content at Level 3 or above (Level 4/HNC preferred)

• A recognised teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE, Cert Ed, or equivalent)

• A qualification in a relevant subject area (e.g. HNC, HND, Degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering)

• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

• Industry experience in electronics or engineering (desirable but not essential)

This role would suit someone who is passionate about education, enjoys working with learners from diverse backgrounds, and is eager to make a long-term impact within the Further Education sector.
