We are currently recruiting for an Electronics Safety Test Engineer to join an experienced team for a world leader based in Cardiff.
As Electronics Safety Test Engineer you will:
Produce Test plans and associated Project Plans for compliance projects
Perform safety testing according to IEC 60335-1 and associated test standards .
Produce test data in the appropriate format.
Analyse data from testing against relevant standards
Generate technical documentation to support testing activities in the laboratories.
Produce photographs for test reports and records.
Compile accurate IEC Test Reports
Supervise the work of the Apprentices/Technicians with assistance from the CTF Senior Test Engineer.
Advise the R&D department on technical aspects of the safety standards when required
