About the Role:

• Deliver high-quality Biology lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, adhering to the national curriculum.


• Develop and implement engaging and innovative teaching strategies to inspire students.


• Conduct practical experiments and investigations to enhance student understanding.


• Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and targeted support.


• Contribute to the development of departmental resources and activities.


• Potential for a TLR for a candidate who can demonstrate leadership and a commitment to raising student achievement.


• Promote a love of biology and the natural world.

Ideal Candidate:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.


• Strong subject knowledge in Biology.


• Enthusiastic and passionate about teaching.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


• Ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment.


• Experience in teaching practical Biology.
