EL/PL Fee Earner

A leading defendant firm is seeking an EL/PL Multi-Track Fee Earner to join their established Corporate Risk team in Liverpool. This is an excellent opportunity to work with high-profile clients on a caseload of litigated EL/PL claims typically valued up to £100k.

As an EL/PL Fee Earner, you will:

• Manage a diverse caseload of multi-track EL/PL claims, including both delegated and non-delegated files.
• Advise on liability and quantum while developing tailored case strategies.
• Draft legal documents including defences and witness statements.
• Attend court hearings, trials, and settlement conferences.
• Build strong working relationships with clients and insurers.
• Effectively utilise the firm's case management system to manage cases from instruction to closure.
• Meet individual performance targets, including chargeable hours and client reporting metrics.

What we are looking for:

• Proven experience handling multi-track EL/PL claims.
• Strong written and verbal communication, negotiation and advocacy skills.
• Excellent organisational ability and attention to detail.
• A proactive, client-focused approach.
• Ability to work independently and manage competing deadlines.
