We're looking for an experienced Email Marketing Executive to join a growing digital and e-commerce team based in Crawley.
This is a role for someone who enjoys getting into the detail of customer behaviour, building targeted email campaigns and using data to understand what is working. You'll take ownership of the email marketing programme, creating campaigns and automated journeys that help drive sales, improve engagement and keep customers coming back.
The role
Full-time, 40 hours per week Monday-Friday Based at the head office in Crawley Predominantly office-based, with some flexibility for the right experienced candidate Staff discount Supportive team and working environment Opportunity for the role to grow as the email and CRM strategy develops What you'll be doing
Planning, building, testing and sending email campaigns through Klaviyo. Creating engaging email content, including copy and visuals. Building and improving automated customer journeys and email flows. Segmenting the customer database based on behaviour, purchasing history and engagement. Using customer data to create more relevant and personalised campaigns. Analysing campaign performance and reporting on what is and isn't working. Running A/B tests across subject lines, content, send times and customer journeys. Looking at customer loyalty, newsletter engagement and purchasing behaviour to help improve retention. Maintaining a healthy, GDPR-compliant database and monitoring deliverability. Supporting the wider marketing and e-commerce team with additional creative and marketing projects.
About you
You'll already have experience working within email marketing, CRM or digital marketing, ideally with Klaviyo, although experience with a similar platform would also be considered.
More importantly, you'll be comfortable working with data and able to turn the numbers into something useful. You should enjoy understanding customer behaviour, testing new ideas and being able to demonstrate the impact your campaigns are having.
You'll also need:
Strong email marketing experience. Good analytical and reporting skills. Confidence working with Excel and customer data. Strong written communication skills. A good eye for design and the ability to create polished, on-brand email content. Experience with audience segmentation and personalised campaigns. A commercial mindset and an interest in customer retention and loyalty.This would suit someone who wants more than simply sending out newsletters. You'll have the opportunity to really understand the customer, use data properly and directly influence how the business communicates with and retains its customers.
