The Role:

Weaving a Tapestry of History:
- Design and deliver engaging and stimulating History lessons that cater to a variety of learning styles and abilities.
- Utilize a diverse range of teaching methods, including interactive discussions, debates, source analysis, multimedia presentations, and immersive activities to create a dynamic learning environment.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom that encourages participation, critical thinking, and a love for historical exploration.
- Prepare students for success in relevant History qualifications.
Igniting Curiosity and Understanding:
- Develop students' comprehension of significant historical events, key figures, and major historical developments.
- Encourage students to ask insightful questions, analyze evidence, and form their own interpretations of the past.
- Cultivate a sense of historical empathy and the ability to understand the world from diverse perspectives.
The Ideal Candidate:
We are seeking a qualified History Teacher with a minimum of two years' successful teaching experience in a secondary school setting. The ideal candidate will possess the following attributes:
