Embedded Engineer

As an Embedded Software Engineer, you will join a team who’s next 6-12 months will be spent bringing a key component in next generation cash automation back in house. You will be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining firmware and low-level control software that interacts directly with electromechanical components used in ATMs and cash-handling devices.

You will design, develop and maintain embedded software. Interface with hardware teams to ensure tight integration between firmware and electro-mechanical systems. You will be well versed in developing embedded software for complex devices in C/C++.

Working with cross functional teams including hardware, software, systems and manufacturing. You will be working as a mid level engineer providing support and mentorship to the junior members of the team that is circa 15 strong now.

This role is based in Dundee and will be onsite 5 days per week due to the nature of the role. Several of the team (and leadership team) are longstanding employees on the basis that they have been given the opportunity to grow and evolve in the organisation and develop both personally and professionally.

This is paying up to £48,000 per annum + bonus and benefits.
