Embedded Electronics & Firmware Engineer

My client is looking for an experienced Embedded/Electronics to join a growing engineering team, helping to develop and enhance a range of life safety products from concept through to production. This is an opportunity to work on innovative technology, contributing across the full product lifecycle within a collaborative R&D environment.

Key Responsibilities:

* Designing analogue and digital electronic circuits for embedded systems

* Developing embedded firmware in C for microcontroller-based products

* Supporting products throughout their lifecycle, including component selection and obsolescence management

* Modifying mechanical designs where required using CAD

What We're Looking For:

* Experience in embedded electronics product development

* Strong embedded firmware development experience (Embedded C)

* Analogue and digital electronics design experience

* PCB design and schematic capture experience

* Experience managing component lifecycles and obsolescence

* Some exposure to mechanical design/CAD
