Embedded Firmware Manager

Great opportunity to work for a growing clean technology company within the mobility sector. Our client is seeking an experienced Embedded Firmware Manager to manage the software team. The right candidate will have a strong embedded engineering and firmware background with a proven history of mentoring and leading large engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the embedded firmware engineering team and oversee full design, development, and implementation of embedded systems.
Ensure compliance with industry standards. Plan, execute, and manage multiple projects working collaboratively with other engineering departments.
Mentor and develop engineers. Leading up to 10 engineers, line management and technical support. Provide technical guidance and support to team members.
Stay current with advancements in embedded electronics specifically working with manufacturable electronics components and ensure design for manufacturability (DFM).Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s in

Electrical/electronics,

Computer Engineering or related field.
Extensive embedded firmware engineering.
Experience leading technical teams of 10+ people
Proficiency in embedded software development (C/C++).
Strong knowledge of microcontrollers, microprocessors, and embedded OS.
Experience with manufacturable electronics components and DFM.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
