Embedded Software Engineer

Our client, a market leading manufacturer and supplier of specialist electronic equipment, seek to appoint an Embedded Software Engineer with previous R&D experience.

Embedded Software Engineer - Role and Responsibilities - Embedded Software / Firmware / Electronics / C / RTOS

* Coding on major new product development projects within a team of other engineers
* Designing and developing embedded software and firmware for new and existing electronic systems
* Generating embedded code in C
* A/D conversion, algorithm development and digital signal processing
* Generating the software architecture and communication protocols on a variety of microprocessors and microcontrollers
* Testing of prototypes, generating supporting documentation, and project management

Embedded Software Engineer - Role and Responsibilities - Embedded Software / Firmware / Electronics / C / RTOS

* Electrical & Electronic Engineering or Computer Science qualification (or equivalent)
* A minimum of three years within Embedded Software Engineering
* RTOS (real time operating systems) experience and knowledge of digital signal processing and analog to digital conversion are preferred
