EMC Design Engineer

EMC Design Engineer - £40k - Cornwall

Platform Recruitment have partnered with an innovative electronics company. They are looking to recruit a EMC Engineer to conduct hands-on testing and design development to ensure their electronic products meet international EMC and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct EMC testing (in-house and external sites)

• Compile technical reports for safety and EMC approvals

• Develop circuit-level EMC design improvements

• Review and validate product designs for EMC and safety compliance

Key skills:

• HND or Degree in Electronic Engineering, Physics, or a related field

• Proven experience in EMC compliance testing and safety certification

• Strong understanding of immunity and radiated EMC test methods

• Familiarity with PCB layout and chassis design best practices.

A Full UK driving licence (required for test site travel)
