About the Role:

As an Advisor in their Emerging Talent Team, you will play a pivotal role in the acquisition and development of their emerging talent program across the UK and internationally. Reporting to the Emerging Talent Manager, you will support their future trainees and apprentices, ensuring they are fully engaged and supported from the moment they join the firm until newly qualified solicitors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Seamless Transition: Work closely with the Emerging Talent team to ensure a smooth progression from campus to the firm.
  • Career Development: Support emerging talent in developing their careers and progressing to qualification.
  • HR & Development: Be the go-to contact for all HR and development queries for a defined practice group.
  • International Assignments: Liaise with key stakeholders for international assignments, managing logistics and obtaining feedback.
  • Strategic Support: Assist in shaping the international emerging talent strategy and support the bi-annual qualification process.
  • Program Facilitation: Plan, attend, and facilitate emerging talent programs.
  • Professional Skills: Design and deliver professional skills programs for early talent and their supervisors.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive innovation and continuous improvement across the Emerging Talent team.

About You:

  • Experience: Proven track record of working with emerging talent in a professional services or legal environment.
  • Skills: Strong HR technical skills, excellent negotiation abilities, and the capacity to manage a varied workload.
  • Innovation: Ability to implement creative campaigns and innovative approaches.
  • Knowledge: Understanding of the qualification process for solicitors in England, Scotland, and internationally.
  • Networking: Effective networking skills to build and maintain relationships.
  • Communication: Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Customer Focus: A proactive approach to customer service.
