Employability Coordinator

We’re now looking for an inspiring and experienced Employability Coordinator to lead and grow a flagship employability programme, “The Way 2 Work.”

? About the Role
As the Employability Coordinator, you’ll take charge of developing, delivering and evaluating an ambitious programme that prepares young people for the world of work.
You’ll:

Coordinate recruitment, delivery and retention of participants

Build partnerships with local employers and training providers

Deliver engaging workshops and personalised 1-to-1 support

Create innovative opportunities to help young people develop skills, confidence, and pathways into employment or training

Oversee externally funded projects and report on progress and outcomes

Be a visible, motivating role model and mentor to young people from all backgrounds

This is a hands-on role for someone who believes every young person deserves the chance to succeed — especially those who are NEET (Not in Education, Employment or Training), disengaged, or facing barriers.

?? What We’re Looking For
Proven experience delivering employability programmes to young people aged 16–25

Skilled in engaging vulnerable or hard-to-reach young people

A strong communicator who can build trust and inspire confidence

Experience supporting NEET young people into positive destinations

Experience working collaboratively with schools, employers, and partners

A creative mindset, with the ability to develop fresh, impactful approaches

A background in youth work, guidance, or education

Experience managing volunteers or youth workers (desirable)

Be flexible to work some evenings and weekends
