Job Description - Employee Benefits Administrator

About the Business:

Pavilion is currently partnering with a legacy business on an exclusive basis. After being established by industry professionals, they are looking to strengthen their Employee Benefits arm. Over the last two years, they have made 26 acquisitions of smaller, independent businesses and have no intention of selling to a larger organisation. Full autonomy and an entrepreneurial mindset are heavily encouraged, while appropriate training and upskilling are provided.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for the client and establish effective relationships with them, building long-term relationships with clients and decision-makers, and staying abreast of key changes within the client’s organisation.

  • Work with Field Sales Executives to renew their portfolio of clients in line with agreed targets.

  • Manage all aspects of account management and service delivery to clients, ensuring client needs are identified and met in line with agreed service standards.

  • Ensure timely completion of renewals and mid-term adjustments.

  • Identify and document successful account retention and defence strategies to ensure the business is retained.

  • Grow the income of the client portfolio in line with agreed targets and initiatives.

  • Recognise and document revenue generation, growth, and other opportunities by actively developing additional business from existing portfolios and other sources.

  • Provide accurate reports incorporating activity and results.

  • Update and maintain records on core systems (Acturis).

  • Develop meaningful working relationships with insurers through regular contact and liaison to better serve clients.

  • Possess a thorough understanding of all major classes of insurance which the company offers to its clients, and stay abreast of new technologies and product developments to better advise professional colleagues and clients.

Relevant Experience:

  • Client service / Stakeholder management

  • Understanding the client

  • Knowledge of the company and market

  • Knowledge of products and services

  • Knowledge of internal processes and systems

  • Compliance and operational risk knowledge

  • Problem-solving and presenting solutions

  • Management of information

  • Microsoft Office proficiency
