Job Description - Employee Relations Advisor

Employee Relations Advisor
Location: Guildford - Hybrid (2-3 days in the office ideally but flexible)
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000
Contract: FTC or Permanent option available

Are you passionate about employee relations and ready to progress your career to the next level? Our client is searching for an experienced ER Advisor (or an HR Advisor with a strong focus on employee relations) to join their established HR team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a collaborative and fast-paced environment where your expertise can truly shine.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Manage a diverse caseload of employee relations cases from start to finish.
  • Provide expert guidance on UK employment law to ensure compliance and best practice.
  • Provide advice to managers on ER issues, ensuring compliance with employment law and internal policies.
  • Manage a varied caseload of employee relations matters including disciplinary, grievance, performance, and sickness absence cases.
  • Support HR projects and initiatives to promote a positive employee experience.
  • Ensure all casework is accurately documented and reported.
  • Monitor trends and contribute to continuous improvement of policies and procedures.

The successful candidate will have/be:

  • Proven experience in managing ER casework with confidence and professionalism.
  • Strong understanding of UK employment law and its practical application.
  • Energetic, positive attitude, thriving in a fast-paced environment.
  • A true team player who is ready to contribute to a supportive team dynamic.
