Overview
We are currently seeking an experienced Employee Relations Advisor to support a busy HR function on a temporary basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional with strong ER knowledge and a solid understanding of employment law to make an immediate impact within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Working closely with the HR team, you will provide expert guidance on a range of employee relations matters, ensuring processes are managed fairly, consistently and in line with current legislation.
Key Responsibilities
Provide advice and support on employee relations cases, including grievances, disciplinary matters and appeals. Review ongoing cases, assess available information and recommend appropriate next steps. Ensure all employee relations activities comply with current employment legislation and company policies. Support managers through formal HR processes, providing guidance and best practice recommendations. Prepare and review relevant documentation, reports and case records. Maintain confidentiality and professional standards when handling sensitive employee matters. Liaise with key stakeholders to ensure cases are progressed efficiently and effectively.
About You
Previous experience within an Employee Relations Advisor, HR Advisor or HR Generalist role. Strong working knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice. Experience managing or advising on grievance and disciplinary processes. Ability to review complex situations and provide practical, legally compliant recommendations. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Able to work independently and hit the ground running in a busy environment. CIPD qualification.
