Employee Relations Advisor

Portfolio HR & Reward are supporting a leading public sector business, that are currently seeking an Employee Relations Assistant to join them on a part-time, temporary basis until the end of September 2027.

This role will be based in Exeter, and offers hybrid working.

The successful candidate will receive an hourly rate of £14.10 per hour, plus holiday pay. This role is 16 hours per week, to be worked across Weds-Friday.

As a successful Employee Relations Assistant, you will be responsible for;

Providing a range of employment support for the HR remit, including creating/updating ER procedures, updating ER Intranet information.
Providing high quality advice, support and guidance to managers and supervisors in respect of issues linked to ER policy and procedure.
Assist the Senior ER Officer with delivering projects from conception to implementation.

The ideal Employee Relations Assistant will have experience in the following;

Previous experience supporting with employee relations around policies, and updating managers
Good people skills, ability to communicate effectively to senior leaders
CIPP qualified (desirable)
