Senior Employee Relations ManagerAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Employee Relations professional to join a large, complex medical organisation in a senior employee realtions advisor.
This position offers the opportunity to support key stakeholders by providing expert Employee Relations advice, leading a dedicated HR team and partnering with senior stakeholders on complex people matters.

The RoleReporting to the Head of Employee Relations, you'll provide specialist advice and guidance on a wide range of complex employee relations matters while leading and supporting a team of Employee Relations Advisors.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing complex disciplinary, grievance, capability, absence and change management cases.
Providing expert advice on employment law, HR policies and best practice.
Leading and developing a team of Employee Relations Advisors.
Supporting senior managers through formal hearings, investigations and appeals.
Representing management at appeal hearings and Employment Tribunals where required.
Building effective relationships with senior leaders, managers and Trade Union representatives.
Designing and delivering management and HR training programmes.
Reviewing and developing HR policies and procedures.
Leading and supporting workforce projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
Deputising for the Head of Employee Relations when required.
Excellent knowledge of UK employment law and its practical application.
Experience managing or leading HR professionals.
Outstanding communication, coaching and stakeholder management skills.
The ability to influence and challenge at senior level.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise a busy workload.
Experience delivering management training and supporting organisational change.Experience within the a clinical/ medical or another large, unionised organisation would be highly advantageous.
