Senior Employment Solicitor – Thames Valley (Hybrid)
Reading-based with occasional travel to other UK offices

A leading UK law firm with a strong presence across multiple offices is seeking an experienced Employment Solicitor to join its well-respected and growing team. This role offers a mix of contentious and non-contentious work for both employer and senior-level employee clients, and provides real scope for autonomy and career progression.

The Role:

Manage a balanced caseload of both claimant and respondent matters
Work includes day-to-day advisory work, contracts and policies, discrimination, whistleblowing, performance issues, and exits
Exposure to high-value litigation in the Employment Tribunal and High Court, including complex team moves
Opportunity to advise senior executives, professionals, and well-known employer brands in sectors such as tech, financial services, and life sciences
Work collaboratively with lawyers across multiple UK offices in a genuinely supportive environment
High levels of autonomy, flexibility, and responsibility from day one

What We're Looking For:

Minimum of 5 years’ PQE in employment law
Experience in either claimant or respondent work (or both)
Strong litigation experience and excellent written communication skills
Confident managing matters independently and supporting junior team members
Strong organisational skills and a proactive, commercial mindset
