We’re working with a leading law firm that’s looking to appoint a bright and motivated Employment Solicitor to join their specialist Schools & Charities team, based in Guildford.

This is a unique opportunity to join a well-established and respected team operating in a niche area of law. The firm provides full-service support to independent schools and charitable organisations across the UK, and this role offers the chance to build strong client relationships and gain exposure to a varied caseload spanning employment, property, and corporate advisory work.

The Role:
·Advise schools and charitable bodies on a range of employment matters - including policies, procedures, grievances, redundancies, and tribunals.
·Work collaboratively with colleagues on multi-disciplinary matters, including mergers & acquisitions and governance.
·Manage your own caseload appropriate to your level, with support from more senior team members.
·Play a key part in a growing team, with genuine career development opportunities.

The Candidate:
·NQ-2 years’ PQE, ideally with experience or training in employment law.
·A genuine interest in working with clients in the education or charity sectors.
·Confident, collaborative, and keen to contribute ideas.
·Strong communication skills and an ability to work independently when needed.
·A good personality fit is key - someone approachable, innovative, and commercially aware.
