We're partnering with a highly respected regional law firm that’s looking for a confident and ambitious solicitor to join their growing Employment team in Cambridge. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on high-quality matters in a supportive and forward-thinking environment.

The Role
You'll be part of a dynamic team advising a broad range of clients on both contentious and non-contentious employment matters. You’ll have early responsibility, strong mentoring, and the chance to build lasting client relationships.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Advising clients on a range of employment law issues
• Managing Employment Tribunal claims from start to finish, including drafting pleadings, disclosure, witness statements, and advocacy
• Drafting and reviewing employment documentation such as contracts, policies, and handbooks
• Providing clients with updates and training on legal developments
• Maintaining strong, professional relationships with clients and stakeholders
• Working with senior lawyers to support team goals and contribute to business development initiatives

About You
We're looking for a qualified solicitor (2-5 PQE) with experience in employment law, with drive, professionalism, and a commitment to delivering excellent client service.

The ideal candidate will be:

• Confident advising on both advisory and contentious employment issues
• Commercially aware, with sound legal judgment
• A strong communicator who builds trust and rapport easily
• Detail-oriented, organised, and able to manage a busy workload
• Motivated to grow, learn, and contribute to a collaborative team
