JOB TITLE: Employment Specialist
RATE: up to £23.00 ph (umbrella)
TYPE: LOCUM
HOURS: full time (Mon-Fri)

Are you experienced in employment support, recruitment, employer engagement or advice and guidance?

We are currently recruiting for an Employment Specialist to support clients in progressing towards and securing sustainable employment.

Key responsibilities include:

* Building relationships with local employers and developing a pipeline of job opportunities.

* Promoting clients to employers and encouraging positive recruitment opportunities.

* Creating employment opportunities through proactive employer engagement.

* Facilitating work placements, work trials and work experience.

* Providing in-work support to clients who have secured employment.

* Matching clients to vacancies based on their skills, experience and employment goals.

* Maintaining accurate case records and management information.

* Keeping up to date with local labour market trends and employer skills requirements.

* Working alongside Employment Coaches and other agencies to support clients' progression.

* Identifying and addressing barriers to sustained employment.

The successful candidate will ideally have:

* Experience supporting clients to achieve employment outcomes and programme targets.

* Experience working with a range of employers to meet recruitment needs.

* Knowledge of the local labour market and skills required for vacancies.

* Experience maintaining accurate records and using management information systems.

* Experience of multi-agency working.

* Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

* NVQ Level 3 in Advice & Guidance (IAG), Employment Related Services or equivalent.

* Experience within a sales or recruitment environment would be advantageous.
