Job Description - Energy Admin - Remote - London up £30K
My client is an independent utility consultancy. They procure and manage the energy, water, waste and telecoms requirements for some of the biggest UK brands tendering in excess of £900m worth of utilities each year. The Role:
This role will provide an administrative service within the Sales Support function. The principal role is pricing energy contracts (Electricity & Gas). Collecting data from customer and energy suppliers, feeding that data into the Company’s online portal and producing quotations for customers.
The role involves lots of liaising with sales staff & suppliers.
The role is quite data intensive as energy is priced at meter level and may involve customers with many meters, with prices from many suppliers.
Remote working available - HQ in London
Responsibilities:
Provide an administrative assistant to both the Sales team and Sales Support team ensuring all client data is collected accurately and efficiently.
Liaise with external suppliers on a daily basis in order to obtain data and meter information, and subsequently manage the expectations of the Sales team.
Assist the Sales team with their requests – whether it be billing query assistance, obtaining contracts, securing contracts, and producing reports.
Work closely with other departments – sales teams, account management and Operations.
Compliance of Data checklist
Data checks:
Check internal and supplier data to ensure that the client’s position and trades have been accurately recorded.
Analytics – work closely with our third-party portal provider to ensure data is up to date and accurate with new customers onboarded quickly and efficiently.
Essential skills:
Energy experience (Meter reading - Utilities Gas/ Electric )
Possess a strong work ethic and be able to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.
Good proficiency in Excel to Vlookup level, PowerPoint
Intermediary level: Word, Outlook.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong attention to detail and organised
