About the Role

We are a forward-thinking, progressive organisation committed to improving the quality, energy efficiency and sustainability of homes across the social housing sector.

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Domestic Energy Assessor to join our team, carrying out energy assessments across social housing properties throughout the Midlands.

You will play an important role in helping improve the energy efficiency, compliance and overall performance of residential properties, while making a positive difference to the homes and lives of residents.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out Domestic Energy Assessments (DEAs) across social housing properties.

Produce accurate and high-quality Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs).

Collect and record property data accurately using appropriate software and systems.

Identify opportunities to improve the energy efficiency of properties.

Provide clear and practical advice to residents and housing teams where required.

Liaise professionally with residents, tenants, housing associations and other stakeholders.

Manage your own diary and workload effectively, ensuring assessments are completed within agreed timescales.

Maintain accurate records and ensure all reports and documentation are completed to a high standard.

Travel to properties across the Midlands as required.

Represent the company professionally at all times.

Contribute ideas and support new, progressive approaches to energy efficiency and service delivery.

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

Qualified as a Domestic Energy Assessor (DEA) with a recognised qualification.

Experienced in carrying out domestic energy assessments and producing EPCs.

Ideally experienced within social housing or residential properties.

A fantastic communicator who can build rapport with residents and explain technical information clearly.

Professional, reliable and well organised.

Comfortable working independently and managing your own workload.

IT literate and confident using assessment software and digital systems.

Customer-focused with a positive and approachable manner.

Forward-thinking and open to new ideas, technology and ways of working.

Full UK driving licence holder and willing to travel throughout the Midlands.
