Energy Billing Analyst - Urgent

Butler Rose is working alongside our Energy and Utilities client based in Northampton in their search for an Energy Billing Analyst to join their fast-paced team. This is a 10 month contract, with possible contract extension and will pay £115 a day PAYE to the successful candidate. 2 days in office and 3 days at home.

The role is key in enabling smooth delivery of our client contract commitments and focusing attention on providing an excellent, robust service. This will be via on the job learning and relevant training sessions to establish knowledge and understanding. This post is designed to be one of continuous development.

Responsibilities:
* Support clean exit from incumbent supplier, and smooth entry into new.
* Maximising claims requiring good quality evidence.
* Organising queries effectively.
* Ensuring supplier calculates final billing correctly.
* Manage email inboxes.
* Overseeing customer queries and data requests to resolution
* Co-ordinating customer estate changes to ensure customer portfolios are maintained.
* Manage all incoming and outgoing post.
* Answer telephone queries and requests and deal within the necessary manner.
* Managing receipt of utility invoices and both via paper and electronically and record in the appropriate manner.

Knowledge Skills & Experience:
* Strong organisation skills.
* Experience in Energy sector.
* Ability to work as part of a group or individually.
* Ability to work to deadlines and use initiative to solve problems.
* IT literate with experience of use of Excel, Word and PowerPoint is essential.
* Finance experience preferred.
