A leading manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Energy Manager to take ownership of energy generation and distribution across a large, complex industrial site. This is a high-impact role focused on delivering safe, compliant, and efficient provision of power and steam to support continuous production operations.

About the Role

The Energy Manager will lead the development and implementation of the site's energy strategy, ensuring full compliance with all relevant health, safety, environmental, and legal standards.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure safe, compliant operation of CHPs, boilers, and related infrastructure

Lead the site's Energy Reduction Plan in line with ISO 50001

Represent the site in regional/national energy working groups

Lead the Energy Team, promoting a culture of performance, development, and collaboration

Control and manage operational and capital budgets related to energy systems

Drive the site's CO2 reduction roadmap and secure funding from local and national initiatives

Oversee delivery of energy efficiency and infrastructure projects

Skills & Experience Required

Strong background in energy management within a manufacturing or industrial environment

Qualification in Engineering

Managing Energy & Carbon reduction projects

Detailed understanding of UK energy legislation, compliance schemes, and reporting requirements

Experience in managing CHP, boiler systems, and energy recovery processes
