We are seeking a Senior Commercial Due Diligence professional to join our Strategy & Deals team. This role combines responsibilities across Engagement Lead and Engagement Director levels, offering the opportunity to lead high-impact client engagements, mentor teams, and shape commercial strategy for top-tier clients.


Tenure / Experience Guidance



  • Engagement Lead: 7+ years of relevant consulting, transaction advisory, or commercial due diligence experience.

  • Engagement Director: 10+ years of direct, relevant experience with proven leadership of complex engagements, client relationships, and teams.

  • Responsibilities are structured to allow candidates to self-assess their level based on experience, leadership, and scope of work.


Role Overview


In this role, you will be responsible for driving commercial due diligence engagements, providing insights that directly influence investment and strategic decisions. You will work closely with clients, private equity investors, and internal teams to structure and lead complex workstreams, while also fostering the growth and development of more junior consultants.


       Key Responsibilities



  • Lead and manage commercial due diligence projects, including market analysis, competitor benchmarking, customer insights, and growth opportunity assessments.

  • Provide strategic guidance to clients and investors, translating data and analysis into actionable recommendations for transactions or growth initiatives.

  • Mentor and develop team members, ensuring high-quality deliverables and knowledge sharing across the team.

  • Support business development efforts, including proposals, client pitches, and thought leadership.

  • Engage directly with senior stakeholders, building credibility and trust, while driving project outcomes across complex and cross-border engagements.


Qualifications



  • Engagement Lead: 7+ years of consulting, transaction advisory, or commercial due diligence experience.

  • Engagement Director: 10+ years of relevant experience, with proven leadership of complex engagements and client relationships.

  • Strong experience with M&A, private equity, or corporate strategy engagements.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to distill complex findings into actionable insights.

  • Proven experience leading teams and client relationships at a senior level.

  • Deep interest or exposure to the Asset Management, Wealth Management, or Insurance industries.


  • Strong academic background including a minimum of a 2:1 degree from a leading institution
