Position: Production Engineer

Shift: Treble shifts

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, as a Production Engineer, you will be responsible for the safe operation of production equipment using standard operating procedures. Responsibilities include providing assistance in various areas of our manufacturing process as directed. Strive to meet plant goals and customer requirements. Safety is the top priority of every employee.

What you will be doing:

• Identify and implement process improvements
• Ensure lines are safe to operate, including PUWER checks
• Set up and adjust production lines
• Respond quickly to line mechanical issues resulting in downtime, spoilage and inefficiencies
• Ensure daily , weekly, monthly and annual maintenance of the machines (oiling, greasing, cleaning, housekeeping) and work areas
• Work with the changing needs of maintenance and machine shop operations on a day-to-day basis and prioritizing work.
• Perform line and die tool changes as required

We’d love to hear from you if:

• Have 2-3 years of mechanical and experience.
• Have prior experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• NVQ Level 3 Engineering qualification required.
• Have the mechanical, numerical, and verbal aptitude to learn your job quickly.

• Must be able to work well with others while also being able to work independently with limited supervision. Performs other work as required in support of general maintenance and production activity.
