As a Crane Engineer, you'll be responsible for the inspection, servicing, maintenance and repair of overhead travelling cranes, hoists and associated lifting equipment across a variety of customer sites. You'll use your technical expertise to diagnose faults, complete repairs and preventative maintenance, and ensure equipment remains safe, compliant and fully operational. You'll also work closely with our customers, providing professional technical advice and helping them minimise downtime while meeting their statutory obligations. Safety is at the heart of everything we do, so you'll always work to the highest engineering and health & safety standards. Your responsibilities will include: Carrying out routine servicing, inspection and maintenance of overhead cranes and hoists Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults and completing effective repairs Carrying out preventative maintenance to improve equipment reliability and minimise downtime Undertaking fault finding, retrofits, modernisations and equipment upgrades Ensuring work is completed in accordance with LOLER, PUWER and relevant health & safety legislation Producing accurate service reports and clearly communicating technical findings and recommendations Providing customers with knowledgeable, professional technical advice Building strong and lasting relationships with customers through excellent service Working safely at height and following all Lloyds British safety procedures What We're Looking For You'll have a strong electrical and mechanical engineering background with previous experience working on overhead cranes, hoists or similar lifting equipment .
