We’re looking for an experienced Powered Access Engineer to join our depot-based engineering team in Tamworth . You’ll play a key role in keeping our powered access fleet safe, reliable and ready for hire, working on a wide range of equipment from leading manufacturers including Niftylift, Skyjack, Genie and JLG . The role Working alongside our team of Engineers, you’ll be responsible for: Servicing, maintaining and repairing powered access equipment Refurbishing equipment ready to go back on hire Fault finding and diagnosing electrical, mechanical and hydraulic issues Carrying out inspections and safety checks Identifying and estimating repairs required Reading and interpreting electrical and hydraulic drawings Ensuring equipment meets our safety and quality standards Keeping accurate service and maintenance records What you’ll need Previous engineering experience within powered access or a similar environment Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills Good understanding of electrical and hydraulic systems Ability to read electrical and hydraulic drawings A keen eye for detail and a strong approach to safety Experience with Niftylift, Skyjack, Genie or JLG equipment would be an advantage CAP registration would be beneficial, but isn’t essential – we’ll support you with training and development to get there What we offer 26 days holiday plus bank holidays Pension scheme Life assurance 95% discount across the Speedy brand Training, development and career progression Voluntary Health Cash Plan PAM Employee Assistance Programme My Staff Shop discounts and offers Green Commute Initiative Build your engineering career with Speedy We’ll give you the opportunity to develop your technical skills, gain further qualifications and progress your engineering career.
